RightOffRussell.com is a sports blog dedicated to Baltimore and Maryland sports. It was formed in January of 2009 by three friends who have emailed each other constantly about sports for the past ten years and decided to step out and start this blog.  RightOffRussell’s mission statement is to provide fans with unique perspectives, insights, daily news briefs, recaps & previews, and entertaining and informative special features and columns.  

So, far RightOffRussell.com has been linked to from sites like The New York Times and many more.

Jeff

Remember the kid who memorized the total plate appearances of Tito Landrum (42, by the way) during the 1983 season?  Yeah that’s pretty much Jeff in a nutshell.  Jeff grew up in the gritty streets of Hereford and spent his formative days in Maryland.  Jeff enjoys quoting Fletch and giggling like a little girl.  Now out of state, Jeff’s passion for all things Orioles, Ravens and Terps has only grown stronger with his separation.

“Sads” grew up in the frozen tundra of central NY but eventually found greener pastures in central VA. Sads has always been a lover of the Charm City since he was a kid. Whether it’s hard shell crabs, Oriole Magic, Little Italy (where still dreams of living someday), the Raven’s D, Lexington Market, Natty Boh, or Stringer Bell,  B’more is his home away from home. He is also a self-proclaimed foodie and you can read up on his ventures at The House of Marinara.

Brian is a devout Jets and Yankees fan and has successfully run thejetsblog.com for almost five years, from a humble blogspot page to a now important piece of New York’s regional sports cable station Sports Net New York.  Brian has rubbed shoulders with Jets players and beatwriters as well as the fans in the upper decks and enjoys both equally.  He’s here at RightOffRussell.com to help out on the business aspects and post occasionally, not to give any deep-seeded Bawlmer-based insight, so goof on his knowledge all you want.
